Life On the Edge

Have you ever noticed when a man or woman in office tries to express concern, they often get judged in a negative light? For example, the recent california wildfires( I know...old news) was a tragic event to everyone. Why can it be just that; a tragic event? Insteard, it has become a ploy to make themselves look good. Yes, natural disasters are a good way to make yourself look concerned and increase your social status in the wolrd. What if they really are concerned and actually do care about the citezens suffering? What would you do in their position? Or even if you weren't in their position? We both know that any human in their right mind wouldn't just sit around and watch as their fellow Americans were suffering, if they knew they could do somthing about it.
